What a day this was, from 1.30pm until 11.30pm 8 bands all got together for this all day extravaganza & for what, just one guy Micky Fingers, bass player/singer for the band 77, all organized by Dean the manager of the band, a big truck was set up in the back yard of the pub, with the bands playing outside on the back of the wagon from 1.30pm until 7.30pm, but as always we got to the 4th band Last Command, they did 2 songs & then it all went to pot, thunder, lightning heavy winds, so we had to call it a day outside, this was about 4.00pm, as we waited 45mins but with no let up from the storm, we took the gear from outside & set it all up inside the pub, it took about 1 hour to do this & we were all soaked to the skin, but in honoured tradition the show must go on, so from around 6.15pm started up indoors, & what a great day it was, here are some pictures of the bands that performed that day.
1st on was Blues Busters, 4 lads from Grantham.

2nd up was Nathan, a guitar/vocalist who has never played in front of an audience before, but did brilliantly.

3rd up was a band called, Whoever we are, all young kids from the Grantham area, good band & good music.

4th up were Carl & Andy 2 lads from Scunthorpe, with there acoustic set.
5th up were a young rock band Last Command from Newark, this is where it all went wrong, these guys did 2 numbers & with the weather turning bad had to cut them short, for safety reasons.

Indoors now & the 1st band up was Moety, a rock band that played there own material, these guys are very good & come from Lincoln.

Next up 77 this is the band that Micky the birthday boy plays bass for,, i will put a picture up of him below, they play punk covers brilliant & a great bunch of guys.

After 77 came a Lincoln band called The Force, but unfortunately my camera started playing up, & the pictures i took of them came out dark, & you couldn't see them at all, but a great bunch of guys & a Drummer/lead vocalist, did rock covers, brilliant way to end the night.
